The previous home on this lot was torn down to make way for a new 3 level, 4500 square foot lake home.
Everything about this home is custom. A difficult lot was a challenge for the architect from the very beginning. The elevation change from the road to the lake posed many zoning and logistical challenges. Once the design was complete it was up to our team to execute. We had a great relationship with the customer and architect who were willing and able to roll with the necessary changes throughout the construction process. The home is outfitted with GeoThermal heat as well as a Vantage Lighting control system. The single biggest challenge was the dodecagon (12 sided, 2 story) section of the home with the round bell shaped roof. The exterior is comprised of Marvin windows, Certainteed fiber cement siding and a combination of standing seam metal roofing and Inspire slate roofing.
The finished product speaks for itself and I thank the customer for the opportunity to build this home for them.
